QRIER Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026

This policy describes how QRIER collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you visit qrier.co or when an operator (tenant) uses the platform. It's written to be read without lawyers in the room.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the public site qrier.co and to the QRIER portal that tenant operators sign in to. It does not apply to third-party sites linked from QRIER, which have their own policies.

2. Data controller

QRIER acts as data controller for the data of public visitors (contact forms, analytics) and as data processor for the operational data each tenant uploads to the platform. The tenant is responsible for the information of its own end customers.

3. What information we collect

Public visitor: name, company, email, phone, and message when you complete the contact form, plus technical data such as IP, browser, and pages visited. Tenant user: email, name, assigned role, audit events inside the platform, and operational data the tenant itself uploads (guides, manifests, end customers).

4. What we use the information for

Responding to contact requests, scheduling demos, providing the contracted service to the tenant, preventing abuse or fraud, improving the product based on aggregate usage, and meeting legal obligations.

5. Lawful basis

We process data based on consent (contact form), performance of the contract with the tenant, legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure, and applicable legal obligations.

6. Who we share with

Only with technical providers needed to operate the service (hosting, transactional email, authentication), under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal information to third parties under any circumstances.

7. How long we keep data

Contact form data: up to 24 months if no commercial relationship moves forward. Tenant data: throughout the contract and for legal periods applicable after termination. Audit logs: up to 7 years where accounting or tax regulations apply.

8. How we protect data

Encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest in the database, role-based access control, logical separation between tenants, and an audit log on sensitive events. Even so, no system is infallible — we treat any incident with the seriousness it deserves.

9. Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, objection, or portability of your personal data by writing to us. If you're a tenant user, coordinate first with your operator, who is the direct controller of your operational data.

10. International transfers

QRIER runs infrastructure on providers with global presence. Data may be processed outside your country of residence, always under contractual clauses that ensure an equivalent level of protection.

11. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies that are strictly necessary for the portal to work (session, theme and language preferences) and, on the public site, minimal analytics tools to understand which pages perform. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of the document and, if the change is material, we'll notify active tenants. We recommend checking this page periodically.

13. How to contact us

For any request related to this policy, write to privacy@qrier.co. We'll respond within the deadlines required by applicable regulation.
